As I’ve said earlier, for the past days I’ve been working on MCBackup 3. Here’s some information on the progress:
The splash and main form look very similar to MCBackup 2, except for the new icon on the splash. On the other hand, the Backup window has been completely overhauled. You can still give a date and time or a custom name to your backup, but that’s where the similarity ends. You can now enter a description, and choose what exact save or version/profile you want to back up, or back up everything.
You can get this build and further beta builds from my Jenkins.
This is still a work-in-progress, so tune in soon for more information and news!
Update: MCBackup 3 has been released! You can download it on the MCBackup 3 Download Page.
I have started developing MCBackup 3, a new and improved version of MCBackup 2, with post-Minecraft 1.6.2 support. You can get beta builds from here.
